What is localStorage?

Without getting into too much techy details – localStorage is a type of web storage and is an alternative to cookies.

A big difference compared to cookies, is the amount of data you can stores so localStorage gives us more to work with. Also, localStorage can only be read by the client-side, whereas cookies are mainly for reading server-side.

Data saved in localStorage by mindburp, can only be read by mindburp.
